Burl Barley Pancake Mix, 14 oz
See directions below for making delicious barley pancakes & waffles!
Barley makes our favorite pancakes. It’s as simple as that.
Made with whole grain barley, clean ingredients, and lightly sweetened with real maple sugar, this quick and easy pancake mix makes a delicious breakfast that’s packed with nutrition.
Other pancakes might taste great but sometimes lead to an energy crash before lunch. That’s no fun!
Each serving of these pancakes delivers 5 grams of protein, 4 grams dietary fiber, plus all the wholesome nutrition that comes from whole grains.
And these are so easy to make!! Just add water or milk to the mix, let the batter rest a few minutes to thicken, then cook up some amazing pancakes!!
Like your flapjacks thick? Add a little less liquid.
Or in the mood for something more like a crepe? Add a little more liquid.
Waffle-lover? This mix can do that too. Just use a little less liquid and add egg to the batter (see directions below). Barley has less gluten than some other grains, such as wheat, so the egg helps barley waffles stay together as they come off a waffle iron.
Enjoy barley for breakfast!
