Maple Chicken Bites

Recipe

2 cups Burl, Maple Syrup & Pecan

2 tsp seasoned salt

1 large egg

1-1½ lb chicken tenderloins

1 Tbsp olive oil, or cooking spray

 

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°. Place Burl in food processor and grind into small pieces. Mix in the seasoned salt and set aside.

Crack egg into small mixing bowl and use fork or whisk to mix well. Set aside.

Lightly coat 9x13 baking dish with olive oil, or line with parchment paper. Set aside.

Cut chicken into 1-1½ inch pieces. Pat dry with paper towels. Gently coat each piece of chicken in egg, then in ground Burl mixture and place on baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes or until chicken is cooked to 165°.

Chef’s Tip: Save time by using chicken tenders rather than chicken breast!
