maple Burl Muffins


Maple Burl Muffins


Makes: approximately 12 muffins

Prep time: about 10 minutes

Total time: about 30 minutes


Combine Burl and milk in mixing bowl.  

Add egg, sugar, and oil to bowl and mix well.

Add rest of ingredients and combine well, then set aside.  

Line muffin baking tray with paper cups, then fill cups approximately 3/4 full with batter and sprinkle cinnamon on top.

Bake at 400° for 18-20 minutes until tops are firm or lightly browned.

Cool and serve.



2 cups Burl Maple Syrup & Pecan

1 1/4 cup Low fat milk

1 Large egg

1/3 cup Maple Syrup

1 tbsp Brown sugar

1/4 cup Olive oil

1 cup All-purpose flour

1 tsp Baking powder

1/2 tsp Baking soda

1/2 tsp Sea salt

2 tbsp Ground cinnamon
