It’s hard to beat a pecan pie. With the soft crunch of baked pecans surrounded by the warm sweetness of the filling, pecan pies are so good that it takes something mighty special to make them better. Something like Burl Maple Syrup and Pecan Barley Granola.
Made with our Maple Syrup & Pecan Burl, this pie is rich in scrumptious pecans, delicious rolled barley granola, and sit-back-and-savor-it filling. It just might make you fall in love with pecan pie. Again.
Recipe
3 large eggs
½ cup sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
2 Tbsp salted butter, melted
2 cups Burl, Maple Syrup & Pecan
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 pie crust (frozen is easy & great!)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°.
Melt butter, then set aside.
To make pie filling, beat eggs in large mixing bowl. Then add butter, sugar, vanilla, and corn syrup and stir to combine. Add Burl and mix everything together.
Pour pie filling into pie crust. Bake for 45 minutes, or until top is browned and nearly firm (middle of pie only slightly wiggles when pie is moved).
Cool, slice, and enjoy!
